In many schools a child starts the bus in July, stops in October and starts again in January. Software that treats transport as a yearly yes or no cannot bill that. Aurora's transport room was built for it.
Month-level intervals
Pick the months a child travels. Stops and restarts in the middle of a session bill correctly, gaps included, without re-entering start and end dates over and over.

Fares by stop
Each pickup stop belongs to a fare zone. The zone is recorded when the assignment is made, so re-mapping a stop later cannot rewrite what was true while the child travelled.

History that stays true
When a route changes, the old assignment ends and a new one begins. Who travelled, on which route, between which dates, is never overwritten.

Can transport fees be charged only for the months a child rides?
Yes. Aurora bills transport by month and honours gaps, so a child who stops and restarts mid-session is billed only for the months selected.
What happens when a child changes pickup stop?
The old assignment ends and a new one starts from that date, with the fare zone recorded at the time, so history stays accurate.
Do transport fees appear on the same ledger as tuition?
Yes. Transport is billed through the Fee ledger, so the family's balance and receipts cover everything in one place.
