School fee management software that keeps the books straight.

Aurora's fee room is built for the clerk with a parent at the window and the principal who wants the school's money without asking anyone to prepare it. It is part of Aurora Console, the core every school gets.

A counter built for queues

Most receipts are written in the first ten days of a term, with a queue behind the parent. The counter is designed around the fewest clicks, a clear receipt every time and a screen that runs on the shared office computer.

  • Find the student, take the payment, issue the receipt.
  • Receipts are numbered per school and recorded in one ledger.
  • Corrections are made with credit notes, not by overwriting.

One ledger, not many opinions

Fee owns the money. Student owns the people. Every other screen reads from them, so a balance never has to be recomputed in a second place and two reports cannot disagree.

  • Invoices, payments and credit notes live together.
  • Fee heads such as tuition, exam and admission are labels; amounts live in each class's structure, month by month.
  • Class-wise reports with charts are in the report library.

Concessions, including siblings

Schools decide what each child pays. Aurora applies a concession as a percentage or a fixed amount, to the whole bill or a single head, through an approval workflow.

  • Link siblings once and see the family tree.
  • Apply one audited concession across every verified sibling's invoices in a single step.
  • Discounts are credit notes, never disguised as payments.

Transport and the rest of the bill

Transport fees follow how children actually ride: month by month, with stops and restarts, and with route changes that keep their history.

  • Fares by stop and fare zone.
  • Move to the next session with a saved rollover plan that copies fee structures forward.

Questions.

Can fee software handle sibling discounts?

Yes. Aurora links siblings only when the school verifies them, then applies one audited concession across all of their invoices, as a percentage or a fixed amount.

Does it bill school transport month by month?

Yes. Transport is billed by month, so a child who rides for a few months and stops is billed correctly, and route changes keep their history.

Where is our fee data kept?

On Aurora's cloud servers, in your school's own environment, in a database that belongs to the Fee service. It is not in a vendor's shared database.

Can we see dues by class?

Class-wise reports with charts are part of the report library in Aurora Console.

Does it send WhatsApp fee reminders?

Not yet. Messages to parents are designed and next on our list. They will go out only after your office approves them.
